Mission

Touro University College of Medicine is an independent institution, under Jewish-sponsorship, committed to promoting academic excellence, expanding knowledge through scholarship, educating physicians and other health professionals for the twenty-first century, creating an embracing and inclusive community, building an environment that is dedicated to ethical behavior, and advancing health care through science, compassion and caring in education, research, and practice.

Touro University College of Medicine will be nationally recognized for its caring culture of excellence in all of its missions.  We will be known as the College of Medicine that prepares physicians and health professionals to deliver outstanding health care based on best practices and an understanding of available evidence combined with compassion, caring and respect.
