Created by the AAMC to raise awareness about the critical need for more diversity in Medicine and to encourage well-prepared African American, Latino/a and Native American students to apply to and enroll in medical school.

Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)
A not-for-profit association representing 125 accredited US medical schools and nearly 400 major teaching hospitals and health systems as well as the faculty, students, and residents that work, learn and train at these institutions.

Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
The Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) is the nationally-recognized accrediting authority for medical education programs leading to the M.D. degree in U.S. and Canadian medical schools. The LCME is sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges and the American Medical Association.

Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC)
HUMC, a 276,000 square-foot facility housing 781 beds, is the primary teaching affiliate of Touro University College of Medicine.

Veterans Affairs Health Care System
The VA-HCS also provides facilities for the clinical training of students at TouroMed. The VA-HCS facilities consist of two hospitals and an outpatient clinic that is located 1 mile from HUMC.

Stevens Institute of Technology
Stevens Institute of Technology creates new knowledge and educates and inspires students to acquire the competencies needed to lead in scientific discovery and in the creation, application and management of technology to solve complex problems and to build new enterprises.

Touro College
Touro College is an independent institution of higher and professional education. The College was established primarily to enrich the Jewish heritage, and to serve the larger American community. Approximately seventeen thousand five hundred students are currently enrolled in its various schools and divisions.
